Naqqashi is the famous paper mache craft of Kashmir, where the product is made by hand and then delicately painted, layer after layer to bring to life a design. Then layers of varnish are applied to protect the painting within. This is Rihaa’s first time working with Naqqashi artisans in Kashmir.
