Mughal Bagh Ajrakh Khes
A sea of poppies, like we imagine Humayun would have enjoyed in his gardens. Translated in this ubiquitous yet evergreen Mughal Buti pattern printed in natural dyes.
Handwoven khadi khes from Morena was painstakingly transported to Ajrakhpur in Kutch to be hand printed by members of the Khatri Community. These were then tumble washed to soften and backed with Sanganeri Azo-free dyed block print fabric. Piping of Zari fabric was then stitched for that extra oomph this heirloom khes deserves.
