Dyed in a vivid purple, the Amethyst Khes is unique in that it features the most traditional aspects of Bagh with heavy tiered borders in black and red, resulting in an interesting play of colours that we absolutely love! The back is lined with soft cotton hand block printed with purple lotuses on a lavender background.
First, Khadi Kheses- Handspun and Handwoven in soft Katran were sourced from the Khadi Bhandar in MP. These were then transported to Bagh, across MP to a Mastercraftsman for printing that took 6 weeks to be done. Washed in the river Bagh, our Kheses are authentic and true to the art form. These were then finished in Jaipur with soft cotton lining fabric.
